About Smither Equipment, Inc.
Smither Equipment was established in 1960 as an industrial distributor specializing in instrument tubing fittings, valves and accessories in Georgia and Florida. Over the years we expanded our areas of expertise to include instrument components used for the measurement and control of flow, temperature, pressure and level. With our years of application experience and product knowledge, Smither Equipment helps our customers purchase the best solution for their specific job. We also offer authorized parts and services that help maintain these products for their maximum possible service life.
Our company is divided into three distinct units of operation.
Smither Equipment is the primary distribution operation handling the sales of the instrumentation products of over ten manufacturers. The location of our inventory in Atlanta, with its major transportation resources, provides excellent product availability to the entire United States, as well as Central and South America.
Smither Control Systems is the systems service arm of Smither Equipment. SC-Systems provides complete control system packages for Thermal Liquid Flow Control and Thermal Storage Tank Temperature Control for heavy oil and asphalt terminal markets. Through our affiliation with Integrated Flow Solutions (IFS), we serve the Utility Power Generation Industry with modular Fuel Gas Conditioning Skids, as well as, Ammonia Off-Loading, Storage and Forwarding modules.
MacPhee-AG provides a line of specialty flow meters, sight glasses, valves, controllers, and accessories specifically designed for the Agricultural Fumigation Industry.
